We found that some of our match of action wasn't quite perfect and we needed to reshoot the beguining scene of Joel picking up a pencil so we could have more examples of match of action and make sure our 180 degree rule is used properly.
We will use an eyelevel camera shot for these and a high level shot from behind. The eye level shot will make the audiance relate to the character and the high level shots will be observing his activities. The latter makes him seem slightly inferiour, but this is irrelivnent as it is later revieled that he is in control and therefore superiour. We will also use over the shoulder shots to show this oberving and the one way relationship between him and the girl in the pictures, as there is not a reverse shot looking back at him, this implys that he is in control. But this range of shots, and the fast varying between them will make the character seem more unnatural.
The effect of adding more match on action would make it flow more, and creat the effect of real time.
